Dr. Alex Campbell
opened Lynden Animal Clinic in the early 1960's.
Even though his initial
emphasis was on horses, he treated all types of pets, establishing Lynden Animal Clinic as a mixed animal practice.
In 1974 Dr. Campbell took on Dr. Edward Fritsch as an associate, then in
1977 he sold the clinic to Dr. Fritsch.
While studying to become a doctor of veterinary medicine in Guelph University,
Brent Babcock
began volunteering here at the clinic. Upon graduating in 1987, Dr. Babcock was
hired as an associate and went on to become a partner in 1991.
